not so much the gypsy bedroom

hello,
I started out to make this room a gypsy style room, but that didn't work out, my cottagey look just took over.Mike built the beds into the knee wall to save as much space as possible.Doing the beds tgis way added lots of storage space, there are pull out drawers under the bed and a closet at the head of the bed. there are a few things to finish but so far its looking just lovely.
There is another bed on the other side,it has blue vintage bedding ....so my grandsons can enjoy this room too. I have been holding onto this idea since we moved in 17 yrs ago

I know most of us have more pillows than we need ,so I am just selling the slipcovers.All my covers have piping and fasten with a zipper unless otherwise stated.I will list the sizes to make it as easy as possible

Today's post is all about kitchen ..salvaged to be exact!

for years, I have collected well...stuff. I love vintage linens and sometimes pair them with new fabrics to make all kinds of things.So why am I having such a delema about making a window seat cushion for my kitchen?.
I haven't had the chance to take many new photos,but here is one of the Island Mike made using the beadboard we salvaged, when we tore down the garage.He also remade all the cabinet doors to give the kitchen a great custom cottagey look I will post pictures of them soon

summer morning in England

Tommy had to scrape the frost off the windsheild so we could get to those early morning car boots. I didnt get to much as they are really getting strict about the weight limits on luggage



Mike and I went up to Harrogate to visit our friends David and Joanne
